As the day is getting hotter and busier, your chill watchlist needs to step up the game. Rather than highlighting the best of movies the first half of the year, we'd like to seize what's coming. We've barely recovered from the first half of Stranger Things Season 4 and Netflix is already hyping us for more announcements of series and movies; some originals and some all-time legends.

When you don't have plenty of time to browse through the 'coming up' section to find something that might tickle your fancy, we've come to save the day. Listed below are our top 4 personal picks of Netflix' upcoming movies/shows that get us at the edge of our seats. And yes, these are all available in Indonesia because if not, what's the point? So grab your popcorn folks, start the countdown, and keep an eye on these movies coming on Netflix sometime around this June, we sure will.

Hustle

Starring: Adam Sandler, Queen Latifah, Ben Foster, Juancho Hernangómez

Coming June 6

While Adam Sadler is best remembered for his comedic roles, one could argue that he does just as amazing job in melancholic part (read: Uncut Gems). That brings us to a ton of excitement for his role in Hustle, here he plays a basketball coach with a rocky past trying to find the meaning of his life. Along came a street ball player with a similar troubled past and together they want to prove that they can win, both in court and in life. There's nothing like a good ol' rousing, feel-good movie that hits you right in the feels.

Her

Starring: Joaquin Phoenix, Scarlett Johansson, Rooney Mara, Spike Jonze

Coming June 8

Fresh screenplay, beautifully narrated romance movie; that's all you need to know to get instantly hooked to Her. The 2013 movie tells a story of a modern day romance; centered on the advancement of technology. In an emotional scale, it is about a fascinating portrait of loneliness in a post-digital world. Splendid performance from all the actors/actresses. The ending gets you teary and yet it is very pragmatic. Don't worry, we won't spoil it for you. We're just so excited that's it will be finally available on Netflix for us to rewatch over and over again.

Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey

Genre: Documentary

Coming June 8

What's Netflix without its signature yet spot-on documentaries? Let us be a little cheeky by saving the third spot for an upcoming docuseries that examines the ultra-creepy religious cult headed by Warren Jeffs; who was sentenced to life in prison for multiple counts of felony child sexual assault. If you're a sucker for true crime, this one is definitely for you. The trailer itself is hauntingly freaky and left us all shaking our heads. But what it also did was intriguing us to dig deeper into the full story told from the perspective of those existed under the cult's rule. You're in for the ride? We're with you all through all the 4-part of it all.

Spiderhead

Starring: Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller, BeBe Bettencourt, Tess Haubrich

Coming June 17

More Chris Hemsworth? Don't mind if we do. Take this as a nice little opening number, an appetizer if you will; to the long-awaited blockbuster before the thunder strikes (get it?). Talk about range, Hemsworth in Spiderhead plays a scientist who conducts human experiments to inmates in prison with mind-altering drugs. The trailer for Spiderhead is least to say, bone-chilling as Hemsworth' scientist seems to destroy lives with no flinching. It makes us wonder with high anticipation what kind of plot twist does the movie has in-stored.
